Tulsidas Mehta and Jethalal Doshi Established Iron Trading Company for distribution of Iron and Steel Products.
1972
Affiliation with Mukand.
1988
Establishment of Mahalaxmi & Jenil Steel Corporation which focussed on distribution of Wire Rods & Wires.
1989
Associated with Steel Authority of India.
1991
Achieved pan India distributorship of RINL.
1996
Emerged as best performance for sales of wire rods by RINL.
2002
Establishment of Jenil Steel Private Limited.
2008
Ventured into imports of steel products predominantly wire rod coils to meet the booming market needs.
2010
Consistently enhanced product portfolio by addition of high carbon & carbon steel wire rods.
2012
Tie-up and business development partnership with Jindal Steel and Power Limited (Patratu).
2013
Identifying gaps in the market and constantly adding more products (electrode grades) within our scope.
2014
Development of credit lines, onboarding of various bankers and start of import from Ukraine, China, Russia etc.
2015
Beginning of partnership with Electrosteel & Usha Martin for high carbon product basket.
2018
Ventured into Alloy Steel & Specialised Wire Rods with focus on Auto Grades with procurement from JSW Salem.
2019
Business Affiliation with Tata Steel Long Products for alloy steel grades & Neco Jaiswal for high carbon wire rods.
2022
Successful completion of MOU with Tata, JSW, SAIL, RINL, Electrosteel.
